Averøy
Averøy is a municipality located in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is situated on the island of Averøya, which lies off the coast of mainland Norway. The municipality was established in 1964, formed from the union of the old Averøy and Henden parishes. Averøy is known for its dramatic coastal scenery, with rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and numerous small islands and skerries. The Atlantic Ocean Road, a popular tourist attraction, runs through Averøy, connecting several small islands with a series of bridges and causeways.
