AustralianAmerican

AustralianAmerican is a compound descriptor used to refer to people who have ties to both Australia and the United States, either through dual citizenship, heritage, or sustained cultural exchange. It is not an official nationality. In demographic and cultural discussions, the term can describe individuals who hold dual Australian and American citizenship, or who identify with both cultures. The Australia–United States relationship is one of the most durable bilateral ties in the Anglosphere, spanning defense, trade, education, and people-to-people links. Bilateral movement has produced cross-border communities in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C., with many Australians studying or working in the United States and vice versa. This cross-fertilization influences business practices, scientific collaboration, arts, and sport.

Organizations and programs support transnational exchange, including government-level initiatives and private groups that promote cultural ties,
