Aushärtungsgrad refers to the degree to which a material, typically a polymer or resin, has undergone a curing process. This process involves chemical reactions that transform a liquid or semi-solid state into a solid, rigid material. The Aushärtungsgrad is a measure of how complete these chemical reactions are, and therefore, how close the material is to its final, fully cured properties.

Factors influencing the Aushärtungsgrad include the type of resin and hardener used, the mixing ratio, the ambient temperature, and the duration of the curing process. For thermosetting polymers, a low Aushärtungsgrad means the material is still partially soft, sticky, or has not yet achieved its maximum strength and chemical resistance. Conversely, a high Aushärtungsgrad indicates that the curing process is nearly or fully complete, resulting in a stable and robust material.
