Aufklärungen
Aufklärungen is a German term that translates to "enlightenment" or "clarification." In its most common usage, it refers to a period of intellectual and cultural flourishing in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries, known as the Age of Enlightenment. This era was characterized by a strong emphasis on reason, individualism, and skepticism towards traditional authority, particularly that of the church and monarchy. Thinkers of the Enlightenment advocated for scientific inquiry, human rights, and the separation of powers.
Beyond its historical context, Aufklärungen can also describe the act of making something clear or understandable.
