Audiometrinen is a term relating to audiometry, the measurement of hearing ability. Audiometry is a diagnostic process that can evaluate the extent of hearing loss and identify its type and degree. Various tests are used in audiometry, including pure-tone audiometry, which determines the softest sounds a person can hear at different frequencies, and speech audiometry, which assesses the ability to understand spoken words.
