Askøy
Askøy is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It encompasses the island of Askøy and several smaller islets, lying immediately north of the city of Bergen and forming part of the Bergen region. The main populated area is on the southern part of the island, with Kleppestø serving as the administrative centre. Since 2020, Askøy has been part of Vestland county following the merger of Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane.
