Asfalttöömasinad, commonly known as asphalt paving machines or asphalt pavers, are specialized heavy construction equipment used for the laying of asphalt on roads, highways, and other surfaces. Compact pavers are used for smaller projects like sidewalks, bike paths, and driveways, while large, high-production pavers are employed for extensive highway construction. Some pavers are wheeled, offering greater maneuverability, while others are tracked, providing better traction on uneven or soft ground.
