Arvida
Arvida is a community located in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, Canada. It was established in 1927 by the American company Aluminum Company of Canada (ALCAN) as a company town to support its aluminum smelting operations. The name "Arvida" is an acronym derived from the name of the company's founder, Arthur Vining Davis.
