Armagnac-Ténarèze is one of the three traditional terroirs of Armagnac, the southwest French brandy region known for producing distinctive eaux-de-vie. The zone lies between Bas-Armagnac to the southwest and Haut Armagnac to the northeast, and its boundaries are used for viticultural and production purposes within the Armagnac AOC system.
The region uses the same grape varieties common to Armagnac, including Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Folle Blanche,
Aging categories under the Armagnac AOC, such asVS, VSOP, Napoléon, and XO, apply to bottles from Armagnac-Ténarèze
