Arkanaut

Arkanauts are a fictional race of sky-faring explorers and traders in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar setting. They are primarily associated with the Kharadron Overlords, a faction of duardin (dwarf-like beings) who have adapted to life in the skies of the Mortal Realms. Arkanauts are known for their advanced technology, particularly their massive, steam-powered airships powered by aether-gold, a valuable and volatile magical substance harvested from the skies.

These duardin are highly organized and operate under a strict code of conduct and a complex system of guilds and admirals. Their society is driven by commerce and the pursuit of aether-gold, which fuels their technology and their ambitious expeditions. Arkanauts are skilled engineers and navigators, capable of traversing dangerous atmospheric conditions and fending off aerial threats. While generally pragmatic and focused on profit, they are also fiercely proud and will defend their interests and their territories with formidable weaponry and tactical prowess. Their armor is often ornate and functional, incorporating elements that allow for flight and survival in harsh aerial environments.
