Aquatisk

Aquatisk is an adjective used to describe things related to water or living in water. In Scandinavian languages, it is closely connected to the English word aquatic and to the Latin root aquaticus. The most common native form in Swedish is akvatisk; aquatisk appears primarily as a loanword in technical writing, branding, or contexts where an English gloss is intended.

In scientific and ecological usage, aquatisk terms describe habitats, organisms, and processes associated with water.
