AntizyklonenStrömungen, also known as anticyclonic currents, are atmospheric circulation patterns associated with high-pressure systems, or anticyclones. Unlike cyclonic currents, which rotate counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere around low-pressure centers, anticyclonic currents exhibit the opposite rotational direction. In the Northern Hemisphere, they move clockwise, and in the Southern Hemisphere, they move counter-clockwise.
