Antiangiogeniche

Antiangiogeniche are a class of drugs that inhibit the formation of new blood vessels, a process known as angiogenesis. This process is crucial for the growth and spread of tumors, making antiangiogeniche a promising target for cancer treatment. The drugs work by blocking specific proteins involved in angiogenesis, such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and fibroblast growth factor (FGF). By inhibiting angiogenesis, antiangiogeniche can starve tumors of the oxygen and nutrients they need to grow and metastasize. However, the use of antiangiogeniche is not without controversy.
