Anisotrófico
Anisotrófico is a term used to describe materials or phenomena that exhibit properties that vary with direction. This means that the behavior of an anisotropic object is not the same when measured along different axes. For example, a piece of wood is anisotropic because it is much stronger when stressed parallel to the grain than when stressed perpendicular to it. The optical properties of anisotropic crystals, such as calcite, differ depending on the direction of light propagation and polarization.
The opposite of anisotropic is isotropic, where properties are uniform in all directions. A perfectly spherical
