Anhidraat
Anhidraat is a term used in chemistry to describe a substance that does not contain water molecules within its crystal structure. It is the opposite of a hydrate, which does incorporate water. The presence or absence of water can significantly affect the physical and chemical properties of a compound, such as its melting point, solubility, and reactivity. For example, anhydrous copper sulfate is a white powder, whereas hydrated copper sulfate (commonly known as blue vitriol) is blue.
The term "anhydrous" itself comes from the Greek words "an-" meaning "without" and "hydor" meaning "water." Anhidraat
