Angripet

Angripet is a nonstandard spelling sometimes seen in Norwegian texts for the verb meaning “to attack.” It is not recognized as a standard form in Bokmål or Nynorsk and is generally regarded as a misspelling or orthographic error.

In Norwegian, the verb å angripe has the standard forms: infinitive angripe, present angriper, simple past angrep, and passive past participle angrepet. The form angripet does not exist in standard usage, and when encountered it should usually be corrected to angrepet. For example, the correct passive construction is han ble angrepet (he was attacked). An incorrect version such as han ble angripet would be considered nonstandard in formal writing.
