Ambareesh

Ambareesh is a prominent figure in Kannada cinema and politics. Born on May 29, 1952, as Malavalli Mahadevappa Amarnath, he adopted the stage name Ambareesh, which quickly became synonymous with his powerful on-screen persona. He made his acting debut in 1972 with the film Nagarahavu and went on to star in over 200 films, predominantly in leading roles. His acting career spanned several decades, earning him a dedicated fanbase and the title "Rebel Star."

He entered politics in the 1990s and served as a Member of Parliament for the Mandya constituency for three terms. He also held ministerial positions, including Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting in the central government.
