Alkuperäismarkkinat, meaning "original markets" in Finnish, refers to the primary issuance of financial securities. This is where new securities, such as stocks or bonds, are created and sold for the first time by the issuer to investors. These markets play a crucial role in the financial system, enabling companies and governments to raise capital for various purposes, including expansion, investment, and funding operations.
