AlMirad

AlMirad is a port city and administrative center in the Varun Province on the eastern coast of Eldara. It serves as the provincial capital and a major commercial hub, handling river and sea trade, manufacturing supply chains, and regional government functions. The city sits at the delta of the Almir River, where alluvial plains meet the coast, and it experiences a warm temperate climate with wet winters and dry summers.

AlMirad traces its origins to a medieval trade settlement established in the 12th century. It grew with riverine commerce and the arrival of rail transport in the late 19th century, expanding during the industrial era and again after the mid-20th century. The urban core preserves a mix of historic neighborhoods and modern districts, while the surrounding area is agricultural and light industrial.
