AlBaqir
Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir, often referred to as al-Baqir, was the fifth Imam in Shia Islam and a prominent scholar in the early Islamic period. He was born in Medina in 677 CE and died there in 732 CE. His lineage traces back to the Prophet Muhammad through his father, Ali ibn al-Husayn Zayn al-Abidin, who was the son of Imam Husayn. His mother was Umm Abdullah, a daughter of Hasan ibn Ali, the Prophet's grandson.
