Aksiomits

Aksiomits is a fictional species originating from the planet Xylos in the K'tharr system. They are known for their intricate societal structure and their unique biological adaptations to Xylos's harsh environment. Physically, Aksiomits are characterized by their segmented bodies, often covered in a chitinous exoskeleton that ranges in color from deep blues to vibrant greens. They possess multiple limbs, typically six, which are used for locomotion and manipulation of their surroundings. Their sensory organs are primarily located in their head segment, with compound eyes and a pair of sensitive antennae that can detect subtle atmospheric changes.

The Aksiomit society is highly communal, with a strong emphasis on collective well-being over individual pursuits. Their social hierarchy is based on a complex system of pheromonal communication and subtle bio-luminescent displays, rather than overt displays of power. They live in vast underground hive-cities, meticulously carved and maintained by specialized castes within their population. These cities are self-sufficient, relying on cultivated fungal farms and symbiotic relationships with other Xylosian organisms for sustenance.

Aksiomits have a deep understanding of Xylosian flora and fauna, and their technology is largely bio-integrated, drawing power and resources from living organisms and geological processes. They are a non-aggressive species, preferring to avoid conflict and dedicate their energy to maintaining the delicate ecological balance of their homeworld. Their interactions with off-world species are rare, largely due to the extreme conditions required to travel from Xylos and their inherent reclusive nature.
