Aker is a Norwegian holding company and industrial group best known for its ownership stakes in energy, maritime, and technology companies. Headquartered in Oslo, Aker ASA is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and serves as the parent company for a portfolio of investments and operations.

Notable holdings include Aker Solutions, which provides engineering and construction services for oil, gas, and renewable energy projects; Aker BP, an oil and gas exploration and production company; and Akastor, a vehicle for oilfield services investments.
