Airfix

Airfix is a British brand of plastic scale model kits, best known for its wide range of aircraft, ships, tanks, cars, and figures. The brand has a long history in the modeling hobby and played a significant role in popularizing injection-molded plastic kits in the United Kingdom after World War II.

Airfix originated in the United Kingdom in 1939 as a producer of small plastic figures, and it soon expanded into larger scale model kits. Over the decades, Airfix released hundreds of kits spanning historical, modern, and civil subjects, with 1:72 aircraft being among its most enduring lines. The brand has also issued limited-run and reissued classic tools to appeal to collectors and new builders alike.
