Aglutinacionit
Aglutinacionit refers to the process of agglutination, a biological phenomenon where particles clump together. This clumping is often observed in immunological reactions, specifically in tests designed to detect the presence of antibodies or antigens. When an antibody binds to its corresponding antigen on a particle, such as a red blood cell or a bacterium, it can bridge multiple particles, causing them to aggregate into a visible mass. This visible aggregation is the hallmark of a positive agglutination reaction.
Agglutination tests are widely used in various diagnostic applications. For instance, blood typing relies on agglutination.
