Agender

Agender is a gender identity describing a person who identifies as having no gender. Individuals who are agender may experience their sense of self as empty of gender or as not belonging to any gender category. The term is used within discussions of gender diversity as part of a spectrum that includes binary and nonbinary identities. The word combines the prefix a- meaning "without" with gender.

Agender is distinct from identifying as male or female. Self-identification is central: some agender people present
