Ademomura

Ademomura is a municipality located in the Argentine province of Jujuy. It is situated in the sparsely populated northwestern part of the country, near the border with Chile. The region is characterized by a high-altitude plateau terrain, with the Andes mountain range forming part of its western boundary.

The area that is now Ademomura was inhabited by the Atacameño people, who were a pre-Columbian indigenous group that lived in the region during the pre-Hispanic era. With the arrival of Spanish colonizers, the area began to be settled by European immigrants, who were attracted by the region's rich natural resources.

The municipality of Ademomura was officially established in the early 20th century.
