Adattípusai refers to the concept of data types in computer science. Data types are fundamental to programming as they define the kind of value a variable can hold and the operations that can be performed on it. Different programming languages categorize data types in slightly varying ways, but common classifications include primitive types and composite types.

Primitive data types are the most basic building blocks. These typically include integers, which represent whole numbers (e.g., 5, -10), floating-point numbers for numbers with decimal points (e.g., 3.14, -2.5), characters for single letters or symbols (e.g., 'A', '$'), and booleans which represent truth values, either true or false.

Composite data types, also known as aggregate or structured types, are formed by combining primitive types or other composite types. Examples include arrays, which are collections of elements of the same data type stored in contiguous memory locations, strings, which are sequences of characters, and structures or objects, which group related data items of different types under a single name.

The choice of data type significantly impacts memory usage and the efficiency of operations. For instance, using an integer type when only whole numbers are needed is more memory-efficient than using a floating-point type. Understanding and correctly applying data types is crucial for writing robust, efficient, and correct software.
