Abaiang
Abaiang is an atoll in the Republic of Kiribati, located in the Gilbert Islands archipelago. It lies about 30 kilometers north of the capital, Tarawa, and is part of the North Gilbert Islands group. The atoll consists of a chain of approximately 17 islets encircling a large, shallow lagoon. The main island, also named Abaiang, is the largest and most populated.
