The Anti-Submarine ROCket, commonly known as ASROC, is a sonar-guided, submarine-launched or ship-launched, anti-submarine warfare (ASW) missile system. Developed by the United States, its primary purpose is to deliver a Mark 46 or Mark 50 torpedo, or a nuclear depth charge, to a target submarine.
