AMDRs
AMDRs, or Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Ranges, are guidance for the proportion of daily energy that should come from the three macronutrients: carbohydrates, protein, and fat. They are part of the dietary reference intakes developed to help people meet nutrient needs while lowering the risk of chronic disease. AMDRs are intended for healthy individuals and are used to inform dietary planning and nutrition labeling, among other applications.
