AKTUaffiliated

AKTUaffiliated refers to institutions that are associated with the AKTU (AbhedMahavidyalayaKisan University). It is a state university that was established in 2000 in Uttar Pradesh, India. The university has 154 affiliated colleges spread across the state.

These affiliated colleges offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in various fields including engineering, management, humanities, and sciences. Students who have completed their secondary education from recognized institutions can take admission in these colleges, followed by an entrance test conducted by AKTU.

The affiliated colleges are autonomous and are responsible for their own academic and administrative affairs. They have to meet the minimum requirements set by AKTU, which includes the infrastructure plan, course curriculum, and faculty qualifications. Students who study in these colleges can appear in the examinations conducted by AKTU and are awarded degrees from the university.

AKTU's affiliated institutions can be categorized into three types based on their level of autonomy. These categories are TGT (Transfers) colleges, which are essentially AKTU's own colleges operating under the university's direct control, UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) colleges, which are older engineering colleges, and GTU (Galgotia Technical University) colleges, which are newer private engineering colleges.

The affiliated institutions are responsible for their own evaluation of students, as well as their awards of degrees and diplomas, under the guidelines set by AKTU. Students who wish to take admission in AKTU's affiliated colleges have to follow the admission process and meet the eligibility criteria set by the university.
