The A428 is a trunk road in England that runs for approximately 76 miles (122 km) from Cambridge to Coventry. It is a significant route connecting these two major cities and passing through several towns and villages in the East of England and the Midlands.

The A428 originates at the A14 junction near Cambridge. From there, it heads west, serving towns such as St Neots and Huntingdon. It then continues through Bedfordshire, passing near Bedford and towards Milton Keynes. The road then transitions into Warwickshire, with a significant section running to Coventry.

Historically, parts of the A428 have been subject to improvements and realignments to enhance traffic flow and safety.
