4Dhyperkuutio, also known as a tesseract or 8-cell, is the four-dimensional analog of a cube. Just as a cube is bounded by six square faces, a tesseract is bounded by eight cubical cells. It can be visualized by imagining a cube that is being "extruded" into a fourth spatial dimension. This process results in the original cube, a translated copy of the cube, and six additional cells connecting the corresponding faces of the two cubes.

The tesseract has 16 vertices, 32 edges, and 24 square faces. Its geometric properties extend from those of lower-dimensional cubes. For instance, a cube's vertices can be described by coordinates like (x, y, z) where x, y, and z are either 0 or 1. In four dimensions, the vertices of a unit tesseract can be represented by (x, y, z, w) where each coordinate is either 0 or 1.

While we cannot directly perceive four spatial dimensions, the tesseract can be represented in three-dimensional space through various projection techniques. These projections often appear as nested cubes or distorted cubes, illustrating the connectivity of the vertices and faces. Understanding the tesseract helps in exploring concepts in higher-dimensional geometry and theoretical physics.
