43305
43305 is a minor planet in the asteroid belt, orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. It was discovered on October 12, 1983, by American astronomer Edward Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station of the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona. The asteroid is approximately 10 kilometers in diameter and has a rotation period of about 5.5 hours. It is classified as a main-belt asteroid, with a semi-major axis of 2.75 astronomical units (AU) and an orbital period of 4.49 years. The orbital eccentricity is 0.11, and the inclination to the ecliptic is 11.4 degrees. 43305 has a relatively low albedo of 0.05, indicating a dark surface. Its spectral type is X, which is characteristic of primitive, carbonaceous asteroids. The asteroid's name is not yet officially assigned, and it is currently known by its provisional designation (43305) 1983 TQ1.
