36369 is a numbered minor planet of the inner main asteroid belt. It was discovered on 3 September 1998 by the Lincoln Near‑Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) survey at the Socorro, New Mexico observatory. The provisional designation assigned at the time of its discovery was 1998 SM57. The asteroid was subsequently named after Japanese astronomer Masahide Ohno, who contributed to the study of near‑Earth objects and the calibration of photometric data.
