2A45 is a Soviet era self-propelled anti-tank gun. It was developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The 2A45 is based on the chassis of the PT-76 light amphibious tank, but features a significantly larger and more powerful main gun. Its primary armament is the 2A45M 125mm smoothbore gun, capable of firing a variety of ammunition, including armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS) rounds and high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds.
