17et is a French video game development studio based in Lyon, France. The studio was founded in 2013 by Kévin Chabbert and Bastien McDessi, and is known for its role-playing game (RPG) titles. 17et's debut title, Faunasphere, was released in 2013 on PC, but it was the studio's subsequent game, Teratopia, that gained the most attention. Teratopia is a 2D side-scrolling RPG that takes place on a mysterious, dreamlike island.

Faunasphere was developed in collaboration with Ubisoft, with whom 17et has maintained a publishing partnership over the years. The game features vibrant, pixel art graphics and a dynamic soundtrack. 17et cited influences from classic RPGs and visual novels, aiming to create a unique atmosphere with its attention to narrative and character development. Faunasphere received positive reviews, with critics praising its colorful visuals and engaging story.

In contrast, 17et's second major release, Décembre, was developed independently without the support of a major publisher, though it still received several online releases across multiple platforms in 2015 and 2016. 17et shifted focus to support for several fan-remade revisions of various game versions. With support from the community, the team consisted mainly of contracting work.

Through collaborations with Unsplash contributors, 17et illustrated a picture-sharing blog during 2016 and 2017, showcasing opinions about natural landscape scenes and establishing a small online following. Despite occasionally attracting uncertainty, the constant regularity in updates generated a patronage list accessible via a link on the company's official site. A later iteration of Faunasphere showcased still less-western north exit changes released effectively under assurance.
