11FS, also known as 11th Field Artillery Brigade, was a unit of the United States Army during World War II. It was activated on 15 October 1942 at Camp Polk, Louisiana, and was part of the 9th Army Corps. The brigade was composed of three field artillery battalions, each equipped with M1 155mm howitzers. These howitzers were capable of firing high-explosive and smoke shells, as well as illuminating and illuminating smoke shells.
