Õiguskaitseorganisatsioon is an Estonian term that translates to "law enforcement organization" or "legal protection organization" in English. It refers to a broad category of institutions and bodies responsible for upholding the law, investigating crimes, and ensuring public order within Estonia. These organizations play a crucial role in the functioning of the justice system and the protection of citizens' rights.

The primary and most well-known õiguskaitseorganisatsioon in Estonia is the Police and Border Guard Board (Politsei- ja Piirivaliamet). This unified agency is responsible for a wide range of duties including crime prevention, investigation of criminal offenses, maintaining public order, border control, and issuing identity documents. Within the Police and Border Guard Board, various departments and units specialize in different areas, such as criminal investigation, traffic police, and border protection.

Beyond the police, the concept of õiguskaitseorganisatsioon can also encompass other bodies involved in legal enforcement and protection. This might include investigative bodies like the National Prosecutorial Office (Riigiprokuratuur) and its subordinate prosecutor's offices, which are responsible for prosecuting criminal cases.
