Áramindulás is a Hungarian term that translates to "current inception" or "initiation of current." It refers to the very beginning of an electrical current flowing through a circuit. This phenomenon is fundamental to understanding how electrical devices operate and how electrical systems behave.

When a voltage source is applied to a closed circuit, such as flipping a switch to turn on a light, an electric field is established. This field causes the free charge carriers, typically electrons in a conductor, to move in a directed manner. This directed movement of charge is what constitutes the electric current.
