Ökumene

Ökumene, a term originally used in ancient Greek to describe a "community of all" or a "habitation of all", is a concept that refers to the unity of all Christian denominations and faith communities in their pursuit of Christ. The term is derived from the Greek words oikos, meaning "house" or "home", and oikumene, meaning "inhabited world".

In a broader sense, Ökumene encompasses not only Christianity, but also the unity and togetherness of people of all faiths and backgrounds.
