Úloný is a small village and municipality in the eastern highlands of Veridia, a fictional nation. It lies in the valley of the Siorla River, about 28 kilometers northeast of the regional capital Lysora. The municipality covers roughly 12.6 square kilometers and had a population of about 980 residents in 2020. The local economy is based on agriculture, with dairy farming and cereal crops forming the bulk of farm income, supplemented by a craft workshop and small-scale tourism.

The name Úloný is of regional vernacular origin. The earliest recorded forms appear in parish records from the 16th century. The toponym is conventionally analyzed as deriving from a root associated with open land or meadow clearing, a common motif in the local language.

Úloný developed around an agricultural settlement that grew at a crossroads near a river ford. In the 19th century, the opening of a narrow-gauge railway branch connected the village to larger markets, spurring growth. The 20th century saw modernization of farms and the establishment of a central parish church. Since the late 20th century, the community has diversified into rural tourism and small manufacturing.

Administratively, Úloný is governed by an elected mayor and a six-member council. It is part of Veridia's District of Sion and participates in regional planning and cultural programs. Local services include a primary school, a medical clinic, a library, and a multipurpose community hall.

The village hosts an annual Harvest Festival celebrating autumn crops, with traditional music, dancing, and a farmers' market. Local crafts include woodwork and pottery.
