Érzékeket is the Hungarian word for "senses." It refers to the physiological capacities that enable an organism to detect and respond to stimuli in its environment. Humans typically recognize five primary senses: sight (vision), hearing (audition), smell (olfaction), taste (gustation), and touch (somatosensation). Each of these senses relies on specialized sensory organs and nerve pathways to transmit information to the brain for interpretation.
Vision is mediated by the eyes, which detect light. Hearing involves the ears, which perceive sound waves.
Beyond these five, other sensory modalities are recognized. Proprioception, for instance, is the sense of the
