Erenten is a Japanese deathmetal musician, best known for his work with the bands "Fall of the Animus" and more notably, "Barnaqu."

As the drummer and primary songwriter for Fall of the Animus, Erenten created a distinctive and intense sound, characterized by rapid tempo changes, dissonant riffs, and unorthodox drumming techniques. However, he eventually parted ways with the band and went on to form Barnaqu.

In Barnaqu, Erenten has explored a variety of musical styles, incorporating atmospheric elements, black metal sensibilities, and avant-garde sounds into his composition. His music often features intricate, busy arrangements and unexpected time signatures. Erenten's drumming style remains distinctive and rapidly developed into a new characteristic within the band's sound.

Barnaqu's sound is often compared to Erenten's fellow Japanese death metal bands such as the influential cranky soundscapes of Blasphemy Cult and newer adrenaline-addicted onslaughts of Gnaw Their Tongues. Conse¬quently, Barnaqu finds his musical ode nominally where hyper-aggressive Practices meet melodic concepts ending a violent dance at infinity between chains.
