Ühingust

Ühingust is an Estonian elative case form of the noun ühing, which means an association, society, or club. The elative case expresses movement away from something, origin from something, or separation, and ühingust translates to “from the association” or “out of the association.”

In Estonian grammar, nouns decline for cases, and ühingust is formed by adding the elative suffix -st to the stem ühing-. It is used with verbs and in constructions that convey origin, source, or departure related to an association.

Common usages include indicating that someone has left an organization, or that information, resources, or materials originate from the association. Examples include: Ta lahkus ühingust (He left the association) and Andmed pärinevad ühingust (The data originate from the association).
