Épistémologie

Épistémologie is the branch of philosophy concerned with the theory of knowledge. It systematically investigates the nature, origin, and scope of knowledge, as well as the justification of belief. The term derives from the Greek words epistēmē, meaning "knowledge," and logos, meaning "study of."
