Äriregister, or the Estonian Business Register, is the official national registry of legal entities in Estonia. It is maintained by the Centre of Registers and Information Systems and serves as the primary source of official information about registered companies and other legal persons in the country.

The register covers a range of entities, including private limited companies (osaühing, OÜ), public limited companies (aktsiaselts, AS), foundations (sihtasutus) and non-profit associations (mittetulundusühing, MTÜ). It contains essential identifying data such as name, registration code, legal form, registered address and activity field, as well as corporate details like share capital, founders or members, and information about management and legal representatives. The Äriregister also stores submitted documents and filings, such as articles of association, annual reports, decisions and changes in the company’s structure or status.

Access to information in the Äriregister is provided online through the e-Business Register. Public searches allow users to view basic information about a company, while more detailed documents and official extracts can be obtained through the appropriate channels, sometimes for a fee. The register supports transparency and verification in business transactions, corporate governance, due diligence, and regulatory oversight. Personal data within the register is subject to Estonian data protection rules, and access to sensitive information is restricted accordingly.
