Átkeresztelés

Átkeresztelés, meaning "re-baptism" or "rebaptism" in Hungarian, refers to the act of being baptized again, often after a period of questioning one's faith, joining a new denomination, or undergoing a significant personal transformation. This practice is not universally accepted within Christianity. Many denominations consider baptism a sacrament that can only be performed once, emphasizing its symbolic representation of spiritual regeneration and incorporation into the Christian church.

However, some Christian traditions and individuals hold different views. In certain contexts, átkeresztelés might occur when someone who was baptized as an infant later makes a personal confession of faith and chooses to be baptized again as an adult, a practice sometimes called "believer's baptism" or "confirmation."
