Állapotokról (Hungarian for "about states") refers to the concept of states in the context of physics, particularly in quantum mechanics. In classical physics, the state of a system is described by a set of variables that completely determine the system's behavior. However, in quantum mechanics, the state of a system is described by a wave function, which is a mathematical function that contains all the information about the system's possible states and their probabilities.

The state of a quantum system is represented by a vector in a complex vector space, known as the Hilbert space. The evolution of a quantum system is described by the Schrödinger equation, which governs how the wave function changes over time. The state of a system can be changed by measurements, which cause the wave function to collapse to one of the possible eigenstates of the measured observable.

In quantum mechanics, the state of a system can also be described by a density matrix, which is a more general representation that can describe mixed states, where the system is in a statistical mixture of different pure states. The density matrix provides a way to describe the state of a system that is not in a pure state, such as a system that has been partially measured or is in thermal equilibrium.
