Zebre is the Italian professional rugby union team based in Parma. Founded in 2012 to represent Italian rugby in the Celtic League/Pro12, the club now competes in the United Rugby Championship (URC), alongside teams from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy, and, since 2021, South Africa. Zebre plays its home matches at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in Parma, and its kit features a black-and-white motif inspired by its namesake animal.

Historically, Zebre was established by the Italian Rugby Federation to strengthen the level of domestic competition and broaden the pool of players available for the national team. Since joining the league, the side has participated in multiple URC seasons, contributing to Italian rugby development and providing international experience for players.

The name Zebre derives from the animal zebra; in Italian, zebre is the plural noun for zebra. The team’s branding and colors reflect this association, reinforcing the connection between the sport and the imagery of the striped animal.
